Common Inventory Methods

FINANCIAL
A Financial Inventory is taken by gathering the retail information (usually retail price X quantity) and reporting the inventory results by location and department.  The financial inventory can be reported by displaying cost and retail information using a variety of financial reports that are available in our software system, as well as the ability to customized reports if needed.  The reports are also available electronically in PDF form.

SKU/BARCODE
A SKU Inventory is taken by gathering the SKU, UPC, Part Number, or Item Number of each product, along with the quantity and additional data as requested by the customer.  Other data can be collected for each item such as warehouse, row, shelf, department, description, serial number, lot number, retail, and cost.  The choices are almost unlimited.  ISN companies have the expertise and the equipment to collect the pertinent information for each item.  ISN companies can perform full wall-to-wall and cycle inventories.  By scanning the barcode or manually collecting the data, we can capture the necessary data to give you an accurate identification and accounting of what you have on hand.  We work with many different barcode symbologies, such as UPC, EAN, Code 39, I 2 of 5, Code 128 and others. The reporting options are numerous and additional reports can be customized based on your reporting requirements.  Inventory results can be formatted and electronically uploaded into your company’s inventory system via email, flash drive or online storage.

ASSET
An Asset Inventory is taken by assigning or using your existing asset number and gathering specific details on the assets of your office building, computer facility, manufacturing tooling, school districts, colleges, banks, hotels, etc..  These specific details can include the manufacturer, brand, serial number, description, color, fabric, and location.

BUY/SELL
Buying or selling a business?  Utilizing any or all of the above inventory methods, ISN companies have extensive experience in providing both the buyer and seller with in-depth reports as to the value of their inventory.  We offer an accurate, unbiased accounting of merchandise, resulting in an impartial valuation for both parties.

PRICE VERIFICATION
Price Verification is taken by gathering the SKU/UPC information of the product on the shelf and comparing it with a master price database obtained from the customer.  Upon completion of the audit, a report or electronic file listing all incorrectly priced items in the retail facility is given to the customer.  To facilitate the necessary corrective actions, most ISN companies can generate new price labels as their crews encounter incorrect pricing.  This service may be combined with any or all of the above inventory methods at a lower cost than performing these functions separately.

FLOOR PLAN
Floor Plan Inventories consists of gathering the Vehicle Identification Number and other information for Vehicles and Showroom Assets, such as ATV’s, Cars, Boats, Motorcycles, etc.  These results are used to verify assets that may be used by Banks and other lending institutions to confirm assets at Vehicle Dealerships.
